One of the easiest ways to earn cheap RS gold is through farming. Although in the case of harvesting Coconuts it isn’t truly farming. Regardless, today we will cover a method that does not require your RSgold hunter to buy RS gold beforehand.

Using your Runescape gold hunter’s RS gold

Coconuts are harvested from Palm Trees. Unlike most harvestable plants, however, Palm Trees do not need to be replanted after each harvest. This will save you lots of cheap Runescape gold and you won’t have to buy Runescape gold in large amounts. You will need some gold4s to get your Farming skill to 68 to be able to harvest the trees however. Obviously, your character needs to have access to the fruit tree patches in the game to plant, but more importantly, to harvest Coconuts from Palm Trees.

How your RS gold hunter will get Runescape gold

Harvesting a Coconut is as simple as clicking on the Palm Tree. The bulk of the work in this gold making method however lies in getting to the fruit tree patches. There are currently seven fruit tree patches across the whole of the game world. They are located in the Gnome Stronghld, East of Catherby, West of the maze in the Tree Gnome Village, North of Brimhaven, inside Lletya and the Herblore Habitat, and on the Meilyr Clan territory. Additionally, Palm Trees regrow Coconuts at a rate for 45 minutes per tree. Each tree can have a maximum of six Coconuts. Regardless, once you have your Coconuts, they can be sold on the Grand Exchange for 3,415 coins.

Increasing Runescape gold gain for your RS gold hunter

The key to getting a lot of gold from Coconuts is being able to visit all fruit tree patches in the shortest amount of time. Depending on which patches you visit, you may need to invest in a Crystal Teleport Seed, a Ring of Dueling, a Witchdoctor Mask, even chartering a ship. If you move fast enough, you can visit all tree patches in around three minutes.

Another way of increasing profits is through the use of  a Giant Ent familiar. With the latter summoned, your character has a 50% chance of getting twice the normal yield when harvesting. This means getting nine Coconuts per tree instead of just six.
